If you are looking for a place far away from the rush of town in a peaceful and quiet environment, then you have just found it.
We invite you to our inn which is located in the wonderful Őrség region of western Hungary at the placid Lake Vadása. Here you can enjoy nature, wake up to the sound of birds, breath fresh forest air while refreshing yourself in a huge outside pool and living in an air-conditioned apartment house.
The inn is open all year for those families and companies who wish to relax and spend their vacations in a wonderful environment.
About the Inn:
The house is surrounded by a 2.000 m2 park full of evergreens and a rock garden and it is an ideal hideaway for every season with its two roofed terraces and air-conditioned apartments.
The three separate apartments (68, 38 and 53 m2) provide pleasant accommodation for 4+4+5 persons, while there is possibility to upgrade on of the apartments with 2 additional beds.
The central apartment of the building is 68 m2 and you can find an elegant living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room here. The two bedrooms (one with a double-bed one with two single beds) and the bathroom are accessible from this area.
On the ground floor there is an other apartment of 38 m2 with 2 bedrooms with two single beds each, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen.
Outside these two apartments a big roofed terrace provides space for relaxation.
On the second floor the 53 m2 apartment is also provided with a living room, a small kitchen and a dining table in the central area. From here you can access the two bedrooms (one with two single beds and the other with three) and a wonderful a spacious bathroom.
The apartments are fully equipped with central heating, water and electricity, TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, mini-bar and barbeque.
On the basement level you can find sauna, tanning bed, jacuzzi and a gym and we provide access to play outside games and table-tennis.
In front of the building there is a wonderful a 16 meter long swimming pool, with varying depths (0.90 m+ 1.50 m+ 2.20 m) which makes it ideal for families with small children as well.
On the western side of the garden there is an open area suitable for barbeque and outside cooking.
Guest cars can be kept in a safe parking lot.
A food store can be found in the nearby village, Hegyhátszentjakab.
Location:
Hegyhátszentjakab is small and peaceful village located in the National Park of Őrség, within 20 km distance from Körmend, 6 km from Zalalövő and 25 km from Zalaegerszeg.
Outside the village lies the wonderful lake with a fishers’ area on one side and a beach on the other side.
Arriving from the direction of Körmend you will pass by the lake and the row of small pubs on the right side of the paved road and after a right turn you will find Arcadia Inn.
